xmas chapel
i`ve never gone to a xmas chapel b4, and yesterday was the first time tat i attended to one. it was a sort-of concert that are performed by the students, and they`re really good.
they have a group of narrators; a group of ppl playing the hand-bells; an orchestra that compose mainly of string instruments like violin, and cello. plus they`re fully equip with drums, trumpets and piano; a choir; and actresses that act out the birth of Jesus Christ, i believe larr .... but i could be wrong.
so, it was really nice ... though i don`t know why the music always make me cry! whenever i listen to the music (cuz i couldnt understand what the narrator was saying anyway, so it couldn`t be the storyline), as in whenever:
- the students played the handbell of christmas songs
- the choir sang their verse *all the time*
- the audience sang along some verse (even that too)
- the orchestra performed their stuffs
it just somehow touched my heart and i just cry just like that.
(the amount of times was so many that i just have to turn my head the other side so tat my frenz couldnt see me. i had to take my glasses out so many times, just to wipe my tears off! luckily it was dark too, like the cinema, so i guess it`s ok.)
and my close frenz know that i`m not the type of person who cry easily.
so i asked my Christian friend, (but i had to cover line larr ... hehehe .. i told her that `oh, u know, my fren told me right, tat at times she would cry when she watch these performances. and i was just soo amazed with it. is it normal?? what does it symbolize though??)
i couldnt understand her answer anyway, but i do remember those key words.
- cleanse ur soul
- holy spirit
and erm, i didnt know that it`s really normal. so what does it mean anyway??
p/s: congrats to my fren who passed his exam with flying colours!! hehehe ... with results like tat, i`m sure u could go not just to NZ, but to Anywhere. =)
