woes of a shopaholic ... *sobs*
1st of January:
Part of my New Year Resolution
-> to stop shopping unnecessary
-> to stop working part time (real reason for the resolution above: no cash =) )
before cny:
- absolutely lost the temptation to shop for new clothes and shoes
end of january:
- no desire for shopping (good sign)
end of cny celebration:
- despite the fresh inflow of cash (ang pows) and numerous job offers, i turn them all down and still do not have the desire for shopping (my parents are so proud of me).
3 days after Chap Goh Mei:
- went to a mall to watch a movie, while followed my friend to do her shopping:
Bad Move (i didn't buy anything though)
Yesterday:
- got an offer for my dream job (why why of all time must it be now????)
- dream job means very good pay and exposure. and they are now beginning to recruit people. God, took me lots of strength to turn that down again, while i dreamt of the things that i could have bought .... *sobs*
today: still daydreaming. thus,
- craving for skirts which i found at topshop; zara; british india
- craving for tops at miss selfridge; mng; urban & co
- craving for a dress at topshop
- craving for shoes at vincci and nose
- craving for a new sunglass
- craving for a bag
- craving for beachwears
conclusion:
- totally
dissatisfied with my new year resolution!!!
*sobs*
