singapore
went to the singapore over the weekends, and it was nice while it lasted. heheh e... was just chilling around and a bit of sight seeing.
anywayz, the road trip down to singapore was kinda ...... boring.
nothing special happened except for the fact that i went to the wrong route in johor and got lost there for one hour; was stucked in the jam for 2 hours in order to cross to singapore; and yeaps, i got lost in singapore itself for not knowing any of the roads at all. can u imagine? got stuck in singapore for one hour?? a small island?? oh shoot.
and then the next day, jeslyn found out that i had a puncture tyre. of course, with my luck, i do not have the tools in my car except for a spare tyre .. and erm ................................... i think that's all. so there were 2 families there who were kind enough to change tyre for us, plus providing the tools.
the thing that i will always remember about singapore is clarke quay. i love that place. it's so relaxing~! however, after the second trip down i realised it's nothing special anymore. too many fines; it has chinatowns that doesn't have the chinatown feel; too little activities to do .... basically there's nothing much. but of course, driving down there makes me see singapore in a wider and clearer perspective! all seems the same: the clean `ol streets with clean `ol buildings. in other words, it's kinda boring. hmm .... i would prefer to see something different, or diverse from what seems typical in singapore.
we wanted to go to zouk, but realised that we were too tired to club, so we kinda hang out in mohammad sultan st; the pub-drinking-place. honestly speaking? the ambience of the whole street still can't beat our very own bangsar and hartamas ambience.
but of course, our main objective of going down to singapore besides having fun is: to see alicia. ehheeh .. never change. still the same old her. =)
